It’s an ‘Oh, happy day’ as the remainder of the Vision Honduras Team, 2010 arrived home safely last night, March 23rd! On early report, just under 3,000 prescription eye glasses were distributed during the team’s working trip, along with hundreds of reading glasses, ever important sun glasses, New Testaments in Spanish, wheel chairs, crutches, canes, quilts, jackets shoes and food packaged by Kids Against Hunger.
And so, we rest but only for a time as preparations are already underway for next year.
Hear this: I’m proud to tell the world how very grateful and thankfilled I am to have served with a team such as this. Props to my dad and mom, Bob, Carrie, Rita, Willard, Karen, Paul, Jane, Art, Beth, Jan and Charlie.
